Fast Food Nation

Richard Linklater’s scathing fictional adaptation of Eric Schlosser’s 2001 study of the strange things that go into fast food stars Greg Kinnear as a marketing executive sent by his burger chain bosses to investigate some of the more disgusting rumors about a meat-packing plant. The cast includes Bobby Cannavale, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Patricia Arquette, Luis Guzman, Ethan Hawke, Kris Kristofferson, Avril Lavigne, Wilmer Valderrama and Bruce Willis. “The most essential political film from an American director since Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 911.” (Manohla Dargis, New York Times)
