This new Swedish drama follows a teenage boy trying to survive a brutal boarding school where the authorities condone the violent oppression of younger students by their seniors. "A charismatic teen controlling his power and meeting physical and mental cruelty with disciplined resistance and submission to pain makes this a penetrating character study." (Cinema Signals)

The director will participate in a Q&A after the 7 o’clock screening at the Royal on Friday, March 31st.
