Former child star Simone Deville, left unsupervised by the adults who hired her. Jack Downey, a low-level film producer desperately chasing financing to either make his next film, or pay off his last one. Together, they make up a far too common pair of artists struggling to remain relevant and employed, in this examination of an industry filled with dreamers who will compromise their souls to achieve their goals.
