Past Run
Ella McCay
In director James L. Brooks' first film in 15 years, an idealistic young politician (Emma Mackey) juggles familial issues and a challenging work life while preparing to take over the job of her mentor...the state’s longtime incumbent governor (Albert Brooks). An all-star cast in a comedy about the people you love and how to survive them.
“At 85, Brooks retains an instinct for human foibles and complex characters.”
