Elegy

MY LIFE WITHOUT ME director Isabel Coixet draws excellent performances from a great cast in this moving drama. Ben Kingsley stars as a professor who finds his life in upheaval after he begins a romance with a young beauty (Penélope Cruz). This adaptation of Philip Roth's THE DYING ANIMAL also stars Dennis Hopper, Patricia Clarkson and Peter Sarsgaard.

"This melancholy mediation on aging and desire hangs on an exquisite performance from Penelope Cruz as a young woman who becomes the love object of a man twice her age. It's easily her finest English-language performance to date." (Ken Fox, TV Guide's Movie Guide)

"An elegant meditation on lust and mortality." (Richard Mowe, Box Office Magazine)
