Don’t Come Knocking

Wim Wenders directs Sam Shepard's screenplay about a faded Western movie star (Shepard) who drowns his self-disgust with alcohol, drugs and young women. But when he learns that he might have a child he has never known, the very idea fills him with hope that his life wasn't a total waste. He sets out to find that young man or woman and discovers an entire life that he has missed. Jessica Lange co-stars.
