Crossing Salween

In the Karen state of Eastern Burma, a young girl named Ko Reh finds herself orphaned after the
massacre of her village by the army. She must now make the arduous journey to the Salween River
that divides the horrors of Burma from the safety of Thailand. But will her late father’s enduring love
and promise of a guardian angel be enough to shepherd her across the river where so many have
fallen?
