Sonny (Tim Olyphant of Deadwood) is reunited with hometown best friends Dave (Josh Brolin) and Ann (Sarah Wynter) after spending three years in prison for running drugs in a small Florida town. Dave and Ann have taken a very different path in life-getting married and settling into a quiet, predictable routine with their two daughters. But Sonny's not content with leaving things the way he finds them. He's got a debt to settle with the drug boss he protected while in prison. He also has an attraction to Ann that could tear apart her marriage to Dave.
“I consider COASTLINES the last installment in my Panhandle trilogy; a nice cross-section of generations,” says award-winning filmmaker Victor Nunez of his latest film set on Florida’s “Forgotten Coast.”
Nunez first brought this particular landscape to wide attention with the coming-of-age story, RUBY IN PARADISE starring Ashley Judd, followed by ULEE’S GOLD a story of loss and redemption, starring Peter Fonda, who won a Golden Globe Award and Best Actor Oscar nomination for his performance.
