The film shines a spotlight on the crucial “below-the-line” talent whose artistry has defined generations of Disney storytelling. Among them are Academy Award–winning costume designer Mark Bridges (two Oscars), Academy Award–winning makeup artist Bill Corso (one Oscar), and Academy Award nominees Donald Mowat and Camille Friend, whose work has shaped the look and feel of modern Disney and Marvel icons. Their insights are joined by Valori Wiggins, a veteran trailer editor who crafts the emotional first impressions of films, and Andy Henry, a second-generation Disney projectionist who inherited both the craft and the legacy of his father on the studio lot.

In addition, Avengers actor Jeremy Renner recounts how his determination, after a near-fatal accident, to complete the Disney+ series Rennervations became a driving force in his healing and philanthropic foundation. Through the eyes of these Oscar winners, nominees, and artisans who embody the studio’s “bloodline,” the film captures the collaborative, innovative culture that continues to inspire generations of storytellers.
