A beguiling story of a meeting between a man and a woman in a small Italian village in Southern Tuscany. The man is a British author who has just finished giving a lecture at a conference. The woman, from France, owns an art gallery. This is a common story that could happen to anyone, anywhere.
Have they met before? Are they lovers, or merely fan and author?
Juliette Binoche was awarded the Best Actress prize at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival for this performance. Directed by Abbas Kiorastami.
