Certifiably Jonathan
Venerable but still feisty comedy legend Jonathan Winters is not one for resting on his laurels. An accomplished painter, he aims, by hook or by crook, to cajole New York’s Museum of Modern Art into mounting a retrospective of his work. Or so the story goes in this very tongue-in-cheek comedy in which the irrepressible comedian has one of his paintings snatched, along with of his sense of humor, and looks to a shrink, a new-age healer, a psychic, and a Who’s Who of Hollywood celebrities for help. Winters fans will doubly appreciate the clever recap of career highlights built into the plot. Also appearing: Rob Reiner, Nora Dunn, Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman, the Arquettes, Dominic Keating, and many more.
