The cats

A private detective is hired to kill his ex-partner and follows his job through. Being sure nobody has seen the murder, he sticks around the derelict town where he found him. After a while, he receives letters from a mysterious man who claims to have witnessed the murder. The impossibility of a third party's presence at the crime scene and the detective's desire to unravel the man's identity urge him to meet the man and embark on an inner venture which leads him to his own demise.
