Bridge to Terabithia

Two best friends dream up an imaginary kingdom in which they escape from their humdrum lives to fight the Dark Master and romp with fantastical creatures. With Robert Patrick and Zooey Deschanel. Screenplay by Jeff Stockwell and David Paterson, based on the book by Katherine Paterson.

"Far from a computer-generated escapist fantasy, this film is an unpretentious and touching tale of preteen companionship and loss." (Village Voice)
