The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story

Join us for a special screening followed by a Q & A with famous composer Richard Sherman and filmmakers Gregory Sherman & Jeffrey Sherman moderated by Rabbi Jerry Cutler.

Their music is unforgettable. Their name is legend. If you grew up in the 20th Century, odds are you've been singing along to the Sherman Brothers' songs - maybe without even knowing it. The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story is an intimate journey through the lives of Robert and Richard Sherman, the prolific Academy Award®-winning songwriting team. Their songs, "A Spoonful Of Sugar" (Mary Poppins), "I Want To Be Like You" (Jungle Book), the score to "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and the most translated song ever written, "It's a Small World (After All)," from the popular Disneyland attraction continue to celebrate family entertainment and happy endings. Their life together was not as harmonious. The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story is a fascinating portrait of two immensely talented men, and their memorable music.
