Beyond Honor

There will be a Q & A for the 5:10 show Friday and Saturday the 31st of March and 1st of April for BEYOND HONOR with the producer/director and some of the cast.

BEYOND HONOR is a heart-stopping, emotionally resonant portrayal of gender roles and the dynamics of power in a claustrophobic immigrant family in Southern California. It is the story of Sahira Abdel-Karim, a young Egyptian-American woman torn between two cultures. The world of her father is decidedly Old World and tightly bound by tradition, while Sahira‚s world is contemporary America and its promise of personal freedom for all. Ultimately, the American dream collapses for everyone in the family in a shocking event of barbaric proportions.
