A Beast Touch the Mountain
A Beast Touch the Mountain
A group of Appalachian women in Bent Mountain, Virginia fought for a decade to protect their land and way of life against a greedy and corrupt fossil fuel pipeline. The fight gets tougher and more violent as mysterious shell company Mountain Valley Pipeline gets a laid-out-in-law go-ahead from Joe Manchin to put pipe in the ground.
Shot over the course of a year in Bent Mountain, Virginia, the film intimately follows the lives of the individuals who, with the help of hundreds of others throughout Appalachia, had fought off a pipeline for a decade with little experience and few resources
