Bau, Artist at War

Bau, Artist at War is the remarkable true story of Joseph Bau, a gifted artist and master forger who risked his life to save others during the Holocaust. In the Plaszow concentration camp, he found not only the strength to survive but also an unexpected love with Rebecca, a woman whose courage matched his own. Their secret wedding, held in the depths of terror, became a powerful act of defiance—later immortalized in Schindler’s List. A story of survival, resistance, and the enduring power of love, Bau, Artist at War is a gripping war drama and one of history’s most extraordinary true love stories.
