Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story)
This bold directorial debut by Eva Husson follows in a long tradition of coming-of-age films — except here, sentimentality is replaced with sex games. Set on the beaches (and in the beds) of Biarritz, France, Bang Gang (A Modern Love Story) explores the sexual awakenings and exploits of a group of teens, chronicling in stark realism the joys and consequences of youth's exuberance.
“‘Bang Gang’ has a zeitgeisty punch...that marks Husson as a confident stylist and director of young talent, both seasoned and non-professional.”
