Anything for Alice

Slacker Max (Max Boublil) fell so hard for single mother Alice (Aïssa Maïga) in college that he developed a website aimed at winning her heart. Years later, after his venture has earned him millions of dollars, Max risks his entire fortune performing an ever more complicated series of social contortions to get close to Alice, now a politically active factory worker.

Starring French YouTube sensation and comedic star Max Boublil and César-nominated Aïssa Maïga (Caché, Bamako, Mood Indigo), ANYTHING FOR ALICE shows to what ridiculous lengths a person can go to help the one they love – even if it means buying the company they work for.

“Maïga projects so much intelligence and integrity it’s hard not to warm to her character and she has believable chemistry with Boublil. The wonderful supporting cast includes actresses such as Stephane Bissot, as a co-worker, and Chantal Lauby, as Max’s mother, who infuse their small roles with an infectious kind of girl power.” – The Hollywood Reporter
