American gun

Three beautifully realized interwoven stories about the impact of guns on those who aren't pulling the trigger. Donald Sutherland plays a Virginia gun store owner and Linda Cardellini his college student granddaughter; Marcia Gay Harden plays an Oregon mother reflecting on the school shooting rampage and suicide of her oldest son three years earlier; and Forest Whitaker plays a beleaguered inner-city high school principal.
