(500) Days of Summer
When a shy copywriter for greeting cards (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is dumped by his love-averse girlfriend (Zooey Deschanel), he reviews the 500 days they spent together, searching for what he did wrong. Marc Webb directed this Sundance selection.
A Golden Globe nominee for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical and Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical.
“Rethinking rom-com conventions, 500 Days of Summer is an immensely pleasurable love story about two young people with a deep connection but an uncertain future.” (Tim Grierson, Screen Int’l)
““Much like Annie Hall did for a previous generation, (500) Days of Summer may be the movie that best captures a contemporary romantic sensibility.””
