2016 Pasadena International Film Festival

2016 Pasadena International Film Festival

Our Festival:
Film festivals are known worldwide for attracting a diverse audience. Men and women, young and old; all levels of socioeconomic status are drawn to the movies. Not everyone loves a particular genre of film, but one would be hard-pressed to find someone who avoided movie-going altogether.

Film festivals bring together filmmakers, artists, businesses, and the public for a week filled with entertainment and education. Panels and workshops provide the general public with knowledge and culture, screenings provide entertainment, and business is generated as people mix and mingle after each screening, stopping into shops and stores, restaurants and lounges.

Now Pasadena has its very own film festival. The old world of film meets the emerging world of new media in the Pasadena International Film Festival. We plan to showcase classics from the very beginning of Hollywood’s golden era, while introducing new media projects. There will be an opening night "Great Gatsby" gala, a closing night black tie Awards Ceremony, and every evening we will host a post-screening mixer at a venue that reflects Old Hollywood -- an era of grace, elegance, and mystery.

We invite you to participate in an event that will draw business and prestige for our lovely town of Pasadena -- long known for its love and support of the arts. Filmmakers, celebrities, and the public will gather for a festive and exciting week that promotes class, craft, culture, and community. People from every continent are invited to share in the beauty that is Pasadena. Don’t miss out!
