The Ruins of Lifta

An elderly Orthodox Jew from Brooklyn does his part for Israel's reunification by partnering Arabs and Jews in an effort to rehabilitate a Muslim cemetery in the Palestinian village of Lifta. His efforts encounter difficulties as Daum learns of his uncle's complicity in how Arab citizens were driven from their land after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
