Based on the timeless novel by the revered novelist, playwright and writer Humayun Ahmed - "Debi" brings the character of Ranu ( played by Bangladesh's International star and six time National Award winning actress Jaya Ahsan ) and the famous character Misir Ali ( played by veteran TV and stage actor of AynaBaazi fame Chanchal Chowdhury ) on screen in a social -psychological- thriller drama. "Debi" also features a star cast including Shabnam Faria, Animesh Aich and Iresh Zaker.
The Film is directed by Anam Biswas - who wrote the script of Ayanabaazi - and this is his debut film as a Director. Jaya Ahsan also debuts as a producer in this Film. The Film also features songs by Anupam Roy, Pritom Hasan and M.G. Kibria.The movie is produced by C for Cinema Productions.
