The Legend of Ben Hall

From writer/director Matthew Holmes and Executive Producer Greg Mclean (Jungle, Wolf Creek) comes this epic true story of the legendary Australian bushranger and outlaw Ben Hall. Starring Jack Martin, Jamie Coffa, William Lee, Joanne Dobbin and Callan McAuliffe, "The Legend of Ben Hall" boasts powerful performances in a gritty true story, with breathtaking visuals of the stunning Australian landscape.

After two years on the road, bushranger Ben Hall considers surrendering to the law when his old friend John Gilbert entices him back into the game. Taking on fresh recruit John Dunn, the gang rides again, before long becoming the most wanted men in the British Empire. When they are declared outlaws, the three decide to flee the colony forever. As Hall seeks to make peace with his tortured past, their trusted friend becomes a police informant. The police set a cunning trap for the outlaws, and on the cold morning of May 5th 1865, Hall emerges alone from his camp... and walks into legend forever.

Made with strict adherence to historical accuracy, THE LEGEND OF BEN HALL will be the first big screen adaptation of this iconic Australian story, and the first in a proposed trilogy by writer/director Matthew Holmes ("Twin Rivers").
