Film Summary
Launched in January 2009 as a ―real-time documentary, Rethink Afghanistan features interviews with veterans, Afghan civilians, Afghan women’s groups, former CIA operatives, journalists, and policy experts, giving voice to the people and issues not being heard. Upon examination of the consequences of troop escalation, regional destabilization, costs of war, the impact upon Afghan women, civilian casualties, and the security repercussions, Rethink Afghanistan explores potential solutions and calls for an end to this war before America becomes mired in Afghanistan indefinitely.
