Film Summary
Over the years, many of Latter Day Saints Church members have discussed and daydreamed about a movie of the Book of Mormon. Legend even has it that "The Ten Commandments" filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille wanted to direct it. Now the oft-imagined film -- arguably the most common topic of idle Mormon conversation this side of Brigham Young football -- has finally come to pass. Nephi, Lehi, Ishmael and Laban and their epic adventures can be now seen on the silver screen.
