Film Summary
An Oscar nominee for Best Short Documentary. A year in the life of children from China's Anhui Province, who have lost their parents to AIDS. One child, Young Gao Jun, a Chinese AIDS orphan, faces possible rejection by his surviving relatives, who are torn between family tradition and their fear of the disease.

This is the first Academy Award nomination for Ruby Yang. This is the second Academy Award nomination for Thomas Lennon. He was previously nominated for THE BATTLE OVER CITIZEN KANE (1995) -- Nominee, Documentary (Feature).
