Film Summary
A buddy movie with a lethal twist, PARTY MONSTER stars Macaulay Culkin (!) and Seth Green (AUSTIN POWERS) as Michael Alig and James St. James, two mismatched kids who meet amidst the early 1990s New York City nightclub scene. Of the two, James is smarter, but Michael is the quicker study, and although it's James who initiates Michael into the New York club life, it's Michael who gathers around him similar souls -- the teased and bullied freaks and geeks -- and gives them fabulous new Club Kid identities. They are the Lost Boys to his Peter Pan, and help his rise to fame as a premiere party thrower. But as the demands of leading the party parade escalate, Michael's behavior becomes increasingly outrageous and violent, culminating in murder. Based on the book "Disco Bloodbath" by James St. James.
