This film follows the lives of a trun-of-the-century famol;y as they face the trials of everyday life. Mr. Smith isd a prosperous business man in St. Louis. His company offers him a promotion, but there is one catch- he must move his family ot New York. When Father breaks the news that they are leaving St. Louis for New York, he encounters unexpected opposition from every membe rof the family.
