Using archival footage and reminiscences of Jewish British army volunteers from Palestine, director Chuck Olin recounts the amazing adventures of the Jewish Brigade. We see the brigade fighting the Germans in Italy during WWII. At the same time they also helped European Jewish survivors get to Palestine and smuggled trucks, weapons and ammunition from British war depots to Palestine. Brigade veterans now in their 70’s and 80’s recount these experiences and tell how they organized a covert operation which hunted former Gestapo and SS officers. The brigade was the nucleus of the army which later defeated the British to create the state of Israel.

Director Chuch Olin will be present on 11/1 for Q&A.
