Taking place in Hungary during the period from the late 1930s to the early 50s, Every Sunday tells the story of Franciska, who falls in love with her employer, Lajos, an older married Jewish merchant. Director Sándor Simó has created a gentle totally absorbing film about ordinary people caught up in a whirl of complex events.
