Because her brother is coming to Buenos Aires for a visit and he thinks his sister is engaged, Clara, a woman in her fifties, places an ad seeking a Jewish companion. What she gets is Saul, who is actually Raul and not Jewish. Time is limited and she decides to tutor Raul on how to be a Jew. What follows is both funny and poignant and Clara must choose between her comfortable solitude and the risk of romance. Eduardo Mignogna directs two of Argentina’s most well known actors, Norma Aleandro and Frederico Luppi, who have a gentle chemistry together, giving this film much charm.
