5 Second Film Festival
The Claremont 5 Second Film Festival is scheduled at the Laemmle Claremont 5 for Thursday May 8, 2014.
The event is sponsored by the Claremont Community College, a not-for-profit organization.
The festival identifies outstanding short films from around the world and invites the filmmaker to submit the film for consideration.
Films in previous years have included Voice Over which appeared in the Tribeca Film Festival, The Crush which was nominated for an Academy Award and The God of Love which won the Oscar for Best Short Film.
The two-and-a-half hour show will screen at the Claremont Laemmle Theatre. Films are up to 15 minutes each.
