Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope is a funny and engaging, comedy-drama that captures what life is really like for young women as they navigate their way through the drinking, dating and drama of their 20s.Produced for RTÉ2 by Deadpan Pictures,the series follows two Cork twenty-somethings, Aisling and Danielle, whose relationship and lifestyle starts to spiral out of control. Seána Kerslake, fresh off the critically acclaimed premiere of A Date for Mad Mary, and Nika McGuigan (Philomena, Traders) star as Aisling and Danielle.
Written by Stefanie Preissner and produced by Ailish McElmeel, the six-part series is directed by Cathy Brady who is no stranger to Irish Screen America, having given a Director’s Masterclass at last year’s festival.
