Play Faire is a story about Trey Foster, a high school graduate, who accepts a summer job with his pottery teacher, Ron Walters, at a local Renaissance Faire. At the Faire, Trey experiences hard work, human folly, and a subculture of debauchery. Ron, a seasoned potter, has become disheartened by his struggles as an artist and his hardships in maintaining his business. During the run, Trey's work inspires his teacher and in the process, discovers his own passion for becoming an artist.
