SEEfest- Babai
Set in pre–war Kosovo of the 1990, the film is told from the point of view of a ten-year old Nori who helps his father Gëzim earn a living by selling cigarettes in the streets. Devoid of fatherly affection or any stability, Nori’s life takes another turn when Gëzim leaves him to pursue an equally uncertain existence in Germany. What follows is a young boy’s journey in search of a father, carried out with the single-minded determination across borders populated by illegals and smugglers.
