THE TAINTED VEIL is a collaboration between veteran documentary filmmakers Ovidio Salazar, Nahla Alfahad and Mazen Al Khayrat. Generally, in religious and secular societies, it is a simple issue and a matter of choice to wear the hijab. THE TAINTED VEIL voices arguments and deep rooted errors in thought and practice and the many reasons behind what make the hijab a controversial topic all over the world.
